Canigou - Refuge des Cortalets: Access to the Canigou for the whole family...

The peak of the Canigou is the last eastern summit of the Pyrenean mountain chain. It measures 2784 metres. Its geographical situation offers a fantastic view over the Roussillon plain. The summit is the sacred mountain of the Catalans. The hiking track leading to the peak is accessible for less experienced hikers from the Refuge of the Cortalets.
